and not the Congressman him/herself

so, since there are 3 for anyone (1 rep, 2 senators),

you are best served, IMO, by the ILS human that has the longest tenure in doing the ILS job.

Call around, inquire, ask, before committing to ONE human. You have to commit to one human at some point, so please do some research prior, yes?

my 2 cents. with that and half a roll of toilet paper, can handle any emergency.

FWIW - a Congressman won't do anything mostly. it's the ILS human that handles the do-ing on most things, till it becomes evident of mis-deeds with USCIS/DoS/CBP etc, and then the Congressman gets involved....
