My Girl has been in Moscow since Jan 11, 2007 Her interview is also on Tuesday Jan 16th, 2007. She just completed her med visit today and will have extra time before her interview Tuesday for her Med papers. She also visited DHL and prepaid for the Visa papers. I have not wrote in awhile to VJ as this site sometimes has very opinionated people and much anger towards posts or people with a thought or opinion that disagrees with them. Guess I pissed off some. Oh well. it was just my opinion. I made sure that Maria had 1st class flight, hotel accommodation's, and plenty of traveling and emergency money. She will be calling again in 10 minutes as her Moscow SIM card and my prepaid phone number have proved invaluable:))) We SMS all the time but she did need an additional SIM card in Moscow to call and SMS me with my prepaid as her cell was outside of Ekaterinburg and Roaming charges. Maybe I have some good advise for someone, maybe I should just be happy and keep to myself:))) My girls air tickets are set for 1-30-07. I have taken two weeks off just to be with her 100% of the time after her arrival and show her the city and all sites and of course family that is dying to meet her. We have decided for a March 17th wedding!!! Yes I'm Irish but no kilts will be worn. It seems more special because my Grandfather was born in Ireland on 3-17-1913

OK. My last thought. Please don't worry!!! She will be fine and the interview only will discuss and finf her natural thoughts which should show how much she loves you:))) Relax!!!

Thanks for the reassurance. I think everything is in order.....I was confident enough to buy flight tickets for Feb 1. I mailed her my ATM card and took the advice of the forum for her to find her own hotel. I hope she picked one with doormen and is nice. good luck!

Good to hear others have this much confidence:)) I bought 1-30=07 tickets with British Airways thru London/ Chicago/ MPLS... I also made sure that Maria had a GOOD Hotel in Moscow. One with it's own bathroom! ha ha:))) Yes many come with a shared bathroom and Her and I wanted her privacy and safety!!

Oh! dang! I should have insisted on the Marriott! A shared bathroom? That doesn't sound safe for a girl who is alone....but then again I've probably watched too much forensic files.
