01/17/2007 Faxed the checklist to the Immigrant Visa Unit in Frankfurt

03/29/2007 Got letter from USCIS to provide evidence that our marriage is bona fide

04/02/2007 Sent to USCIS lots of evidence

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

05/18/2007 E-mail from IV Frankfurt, our interview was scheduled for May 29th

05/19/2007 Packet 4 in the mail: ja ja ja interview letter

05/29/2007 Interview at 7.30 a.m. APPROVED Thank you, God!

06/01/2007 Visa arrived !

06/03/2007 Mayday on the plane POE Cincinnati

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

American Idol Poll Results - The Final 3

It's less than an hour before the final pair of contestants for the finale of the 2007 edition of American Idol is announced. These are the selections of visitors to this site with only one vote per visitor allowed.

Preference for the pair advancing to the finale:

* Melinda and Jordin - 50%

* Jordin and Blake - 30%

* Blake and Melinda - 19%

Preference for the ultimate winner of American Idol:

* Jordin Sparks - 41%

* Melinda Doolittle - 36%

* Blake Lewis - 21%

Erm...

Alright Alright!! I didn't read the whole post. I'm lazy. But I'm not suprised. Melinda is boring and looks more like a school teacher than a superstar. She has a great voice but she chose poor songs last night. Blake can be thankful that most of the voters are young girls, but that rides ends next week.

it is probably good that she got voted off... look at Daughtry...

she can do her own thing now and not be tied down to what the American idol people want her to do....

but I am still shocked because she was the best one last night...

and Ahem, she only picked one of the songs, the Producers picked one and the judges picked the other one.. but I didn't think the songs were boring :no:

but I think a lot of people like Blake because he is so contemporary, he is way different then any contestant that they have had on this show in all the last seasons...

you have to remember this show isn't all about singing, it is called American Idol

some of the greatest "American Idols" (like Elvis, Beatles) didn't really have the greatest singing voice, their personality etc.. had a lot to do with what made them famous....

I agree with you there Marilyn. Melinda has sooooo much talent and im sure she will have a very successful career more on her terms.
