I think Blake is average as a singer and knows he can't compete with the vocalists left so he's doing that 'beat box' stuff to separate himself. I find it terrible but he's in the top 4 so apparently others like him. Lakisha hasn't been impressive lately. Her lisp has always bothered me and combined with the shouting it's just too much. I hope Blake and Lakisha go next so Melinda and Jordin face off in the final.

Barry looked very OLD tonight, then again time catches up with all of us. Yeah, i noticed as well he was out of breath.

I really thought Blake was going tonight, oh well i'm sure he's gone next week.

I think Blake should have gone before Lakisha but this has been a 2 horse race for a while. Jordin and Melinda are the best singers in the competition. Lakisha is good sometimes but her lisp and over singing did her in. I think Blake has been terrible lately - especially this week - but again someone must be voting for him. I would have thought VFTW after this week but even their vote didn't help Lakisha. Guess they aren't that much of an influence after all?

I'll be in the Philippines for the next few weeks AI so I'll have to catch up on DVR when I get back. My vote is Jordin but I would be happy with Melinda as well. If it's Blake well... Taylor II w/beatbox (barf)

Blake probably has the tween and teenager vote is my guess. Lakisha knew she was gone, she blew us away at the begining, she actually gave me goosebumps with her singing, but then she lost *it*

Yep, your right Taylor Hicks was a complete bust IMO. Chris Daughtery, who came in 4th has had more of a career then he has. BTW i love his cd.

I totally agree, ML..picked Melinda from the auditions....I think a lot of people did! and liked her the whole time...but I would be happy with her OR Jordin...they are both pretty amazing. I like all of the final four though....I hope Lakisha *does* have a career after this...it would be such a Cinderella story for her as a single mom from the city in MI....I love it!!! I really want her to do well...even if she put out one album and never sold another (LOL..hope not, just sayin') she would make enough money off of it to put her in a pretty good position most likely... M.

Taylor Hicks is a joke. He's the worst winner since Reuben. I stopped watching when Chris got voted off. I hope Blake is eliminated next week. Then I'd be happy with either Melinda or Jordin as the winner. Neither will lose though - they both got plenty of exposure and will probably get record deals.
