I watched last night, what was up with the Judges?

Randy - was brutally honest, and I can't remeber him saying "Dog" one time...who was he last night?

Paula - just sat there, I almost forgot she was there

Simon - Was pretty laid back, he did get his usual quota of "it was awful, the worst I've seen"

Jewell - needed to act like she had a brain, she just basically piggybacked off of what Simon or Randy said. Which was usually mean.

I thought that it was funny when, the young lady said that her boss paid for her and her sister to come to the show, and he also came along with them.

When the judges found out they were all nudging each other and hinting that something was going on between them two.

It was funny because that was my exact reaction to my husband...and he said " no way, the bosses wife is with him".

So when they drew that same conclusion I did, I was jumping up and down like seee "I told you, I'm not alone'"

I was thinking how could she come to the US since 15 with just a backpack and sleep on the street - does seems like she's out of status by now or not even have any... oh well... i'm too crazy with immigration stuff i guess

But i do like her too.. her second song was good.

the expression on Simon's face when that girl (second or third to last) kinda overweight walked in was a classic!.. I laughed so hard that I almost wet myself!

Randy did say dawg. It was to the guy who sang Michael Jackson I think. I can't remember his name. He sang real soft though.

I like American Idol and watched last night. Yes there were some funny moments!

I haven't read all the pages so I am not sure if anyone said this yet..

I'm going to sound like some hippie activist, but I am tired of American Idol exploiting people with obvious mental problems and using them as entertainment.

If someone is just tone deaf and thinks they can sing, and are told they can't, that's fine IMO. But there were some obvious mentally handicapped people who really think they can sing, and it's like AI uses them for entertainment. I don't like it.

And for tonights episode, they showed a preview of Simon insulting a guy saying he looks like a creature...when the guy obviously was born that way and has no control of it. And they showed a lot of mentally handicapped people in the previews for tonight. I just don't think that part is right.

The arrogant people who think they are the best singers, that's different. But those who are obviously crazy...that is very sad to me and they spend too much time focusing on them. I almost just want to wait until they are in Hollywood instead of watching crazy people audition.

On my radio station they were talking about that, things they were useing just to get the rateings up by letting some of these people on when they knew they wouldnt make it but make the situation more funny to the general public to get the viewers.

I totally agree with what you said, especially the bolded parts. When i saw the clips for tonights show from Seattle, you could see they were focusing on people who have physical and mental handicaps, thats very wrong and cruel IMO. Ok, show a few of a wackos, who are normal per say and think they can sing, for a laugh.

I am tempted to write FOX about how i feel they are exploiting those people but im sure it wont do any good.
