Ok. Here is my rant re: Melinda and Laksiha. Yes, they sing AMAZINGLY. BUT

1. Their songs are Boooooooring to me.

2. MELINDA MAKES ME NUTS!! Every time she sings, and the compliment her, she gets this look on her face like... "OH MY GOD ThEY THINK IM GOOD....REALLY?? Awww SHUCKS" It's making me nuts. SAME reaction every time. Get over it. You're good. Just accept it.

and she does look like Shrek. LOL

Can you believe I even dreamed about Sanjaya leaving the competition a couple days ago? I dreamed when it was time to send someone home they decided to send the bottom 1 and Sanjaya at the same time (I don't remember who was the bottom 1, btw)

every year they seem to have one person who gets through week after week, while better singers get kicked off the show.... They usually get picked off eventually... with the exception of Season 1... Justin made it to the top 2 :P

This year ain't no different :P

Sanjaya is this years Chicken Little.....

Chicken Little / Kevin Covais couldn't really sing compared to most of the other contestants but he made it through about 2 weeks or so before he was voted off....

so hopefully Snajaya gets picked off soon....

Didn't see the other night's show but when I saw the recap in the morning news the following day, I was so glad I missed it. What's with the mohawk? Is that an attempt to thumb his nose at the fans of other AI contestants ... that he is not going to be voted out because of VFTW ... no matter how stupidly he acts/looks?

Caroline, I LOVE Melinda's singing..she's my favorite contestant..and you know what? I could NOT agree with you more. I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking sick of that "what??? really? You LIKE me?" look that I could just heave. You KNOW you're good...you KNOW they're gonna like you. It IS looking fakey by now...just STOP already.

Gawsh. I LOVE her voice, but she's driving me up a WALL with that look. Ryan too, I think! Did you hear him allude to that after she sang last week? He said why do you always look so surprised...you sing, they say good things, you should be used to it by now...or something like that. I thought, RIGHT ON ..someone finally said it!! :P M.

I (L) Melinda!! She could probably sing the phone book and it would sound good..

I think she is a genuinely nice person....

You have to remember she was background singer for a long time so probably has some insecurity issues with her singing ability...
