I really don't care for Phil at all.

Even melinda...and melinda fans may shoot me but the whole no-neck thing freaks me out. When I don't look at her she's ok though.

I know this isn't right..but someone suggested she reminds them of Shrek..and I almost spit my coffee out...(I know I should have..but couldn't help it...)

That whole Sanjaya thing was puzzling me before last week. I mean, come on, how much power does VFTW have? Then I saw a sign in the audience that reminded me of Jasmine from Hawaii... Flashback: Remember her? She was sooo mediocre and was staying on while good singers were leaving. There was a HUGE statewide effort to keep her, because she was the first contestant from Hawaii. So back to the present and what did I see waving around in the audience last week? Sign held up by a row of people who looked Indian: "A vote for Sanjaya is a vote 4 our people". Ding ding ding! It's the Jasmine thingie all over again.

every year they seem to have one person who gets through week after week, while better singers get kicked off the show.... They usually get picked off eventually... with the exception of Season 1... Justin made it to the top 2

Ok. Here is my rant re: Melinda and Laksiha. Yes, they sing AMAZINGLY. BUT

1. Their songs are Boooooooring to me.

2. MELINDA MAKES ME NUTS!! Every time she sings, and the compliment her, she gets this look on her face like... "OH MY GOD ThEY THINK IM GOOD....REALLY?? Awww SHUCKS" It's making me nuts. SAME reaction every time. Get over it. You're good. Just accept it.

CarolineM I am so with you on these sentiments!!! Particularly about Melinda! I am sooooooooooooo tired of her acting like "really? You liked it?" Its starting to come off as feigned now. I wouldn't vote for her based on that alone, but factor in that she is a neckless, hunchbacked Shrek lookalike that appears to be 50 rather than 30 and she definitely loses my vote!

I want someone with ORIGINALITY to win!
