Great:

Melinda: Simply amazing no matter what she sings. Head and shoulders above everyone else.

Lakisha: Not my favorite Donna Summer song but she did it well. I had to RW to make sure Randy didn't ask about '####### night'. ;)

Good:

Phil: Another in the 'never liked the song but did it well category' for me. Why so much Sting? He's far from the worst tonight but given AI voting history that doesn't mean anything

Jordin: I absolutely *hate* the song but she has such a great voice and charisma (especially for 17) it was worth sitting through

Average:

Chris Sligh: Song was boring and vocal was just okay. At least he was honest to the criticism. FF came into play. He was my favorite guy but has been going downhill and it continues

Haley: Did a decent job of singing a very emotional song with little emotion

Gina: Same as Haley only a step below

Below Average:

Chris Richardson: Tried to make an R&B version of 'Love Song' and failed miserably. Robert Smith would smack him down like Mecha Streisand if he heard it

Blake: The 'beat box boy' fails again. Took an emotional song and made it just blah

'F' and the worst part of this 'competition':

Suckjaya: He's a joke. Just DIAFF

Melinda.....just wow every single week. If this competition goes on singing alone, as it's supposed to(but, of course, doesn't in actuality) she would win, hands down. She's really in a league of her own, and every other cliche you can think of like that.

LaKisha..oh yeah. Love this girl too. Not as much as Melinda, but she's my 2nd fave...GREAT singer AND performer. 'da bomb, dawg. ;)

Jordin....quickly moving up, IMO. Lovin' her...amazing voice and for her age.... wooooooot!

Blake...agree that, for me, he IS the best male vocal...and it helps that he brings something different and unique most weeks. Really like him best out of the guys.

The rest I could live without seeing every week, though I did really enjoy what's her name...ummm...Gina I think..tonight. She did sing the perfect song for her voice, I though too. (red hair, rocker..that Gina??)

Sanjaya??? There just are NO words bad enough. Excuse me but *barf* :wacko: M.

Sorry - confused Blake & Chris R but my opinion of their performances doesn't change. IMO neither of them were good last night.

I hated the 311 remake slightly less than Blake's version. Both were terrible versions for me.

Suckjaya is a joke but he knows it. I think his hair last night proves it. His 15 minutes will (thankfully) be coming to an end soon. :thumbs:
