I think Sanjaya should publicly go on stage tonight and say that he acknowledges the fact that it Vote for the Worst website that is keeping him on the show, and that for the integrity of American Idol, that this week he will willingly be taken off the show rather than have another person be voted off.

That would be a classy move on his part

Yeah except lastweek when the judges were telling him how bad he did ect he seemed in total shock that they didnt think he sung well I do think its a disgrace he has made it this far and Jared and Brandon were both better then Sanjaya and here he still is on the show. Anyone remember that Kevin "chicken little" from last year? Sanjaya is kinda a repeat of him.

"Melinda Doolittle may have gotten raves from the judges, but the real star of American Idol this week was Ashley Ferl, the 13-year-old from Riverside, California, whose tears rolled as the cameras rolled. Ashley, who attended the taping with her mom and a teenage pal on Tuesday, could hardly contain her excitement when the 11 Idol finalists took the stage. When Sanjaya, one of the four Idols she told Ryan Seacrest she's rooting for, smiled in her direction during his performance of The Kinks' "You Really Got Me," Ashley wept uncontrollably, in front of 37 million viewers.

Then again, the pigtailed teen never expected to be in such close proximity to Idol's fledgling stars. Is it any wonder that she was overwhelmed?

According to producers, the Ferl family landed on Idol after snagging tickets to a taping of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?. Don't even need to listen to the whole song..Melinda is obviously in a class by herself here...

Oh that's not true. I think Simon said the same thing, but I think Jordin is in the same class as her. Yes, my wife forced me to watch it last night. I never watch that show at this point in the season. I have to say that these two are not only the best in the bunch, but they are the best I've ever heard from this show period. It's hard to believe Jordin is not a pro.
