I don't know why my posts aren't showing up... anyways, I am so mad that Sanjaya didn't go home.

Did you notice that they have Chris Daughtry's song as the new "had a bad day" song?

Hiya!

Being new to these boards, I just tonight stumbled onto the Idol topic!

I have an interesting story to share, here in Maryland, I had the pleasure of working with LaKisha up until she got her IDOL call. She worked with me at the bank all of Summer 06, through till the fall. She's on a leave of absence but from the way that girly sings she won't be coming back to banking! LOL

Anyway, I get to attend regular Kisha parties to support her with many of my co-workers. Throw your support her way, if you can! From one VJer to another ;)

Here's an interesting read from the local paper about her, and us at the bank. (I'm the Kim mentioned in the article btw)

I totally agree with you about Sanjaya. The weird thing is, he now seems to be developing an attitude - like he's being wronged when crticized. Give me a break! He is pooh on toast!

I did notice that they are plugging Daughtry! I think thats so cool!

i think its smart for them to plug daughtry... and pickler and mcphee and hicks...

they are all under contract with them... any publicity that increases sales puts more money in AIs pockets

i missed the first 1 1/2 hrs of the show, but just based on the clips they showed at the end, i can not imagine why it wasnt sanjaya who deserved to go home (only VFTW is keeping him there and it cant keep him there forever)... but i think that haley also deserved to be in the bottom two... forgetting words? to THAT popular of a song? same with brandon...

i LIKED what blake did with the song... even diana ross liked it... the judges need to really get their heads on straight... if he had sung it as just motown, they would have been saying that it was karaoke and they wanted to see HIS personality show thru... but he DOES change it around to modernize it and make it his style and they blast him for it... its nuts

i hate that i missed melinda... her clip sounded great... and hubby said the judges ripped chris sligh, but that he liked the way chris did the song...

that is what made me mad... if he had sung it the original way they would have told him that they wished they could have seen more of his personality....:P

They have always done that.. like they will say, oh, you should change it up once in awhile and then the person does and then they say, you should stick with what you do best etc..... :P

as for "Vote for the Worst", it seems like their power is slipping away as like I said Sanjaya was in the Bottom 3 this week, right??

I can't believe Sanjaya didn't go home. Sujeet thinks it's because all the Indians in the US who watch the show are voting for him, just because he's Indian. LOL. I don't think that's totally it, but if it is, that'd be so annoying!!!
