Did anyone else think it seemed like Jordin stopped singing before her last note finished? I mean, as if that last note was prerecorded? :unsure:

I definitely could be wrong, I wasn't watching all that closely...

i heard that too... i thought maybe it was a backup singer that held on

Yup, totally agree. I've been belting out W-O-M-A-N since Melinda sang it. She totally rocked it!

ETA: I doubt Antonella will go home though. I think Gina, Sabrina, and Stephanie are all possibilites instead, unfortunately...

Once again Melinda was fantastic!! She is class. I really liked Gina tonight too. Lakisha was good too.

When you see the recap for the voting at the end of the show and hear all the girls again its SO obvious Antonella is outta her league.

I voted for Lakisha and Melinda. Gina did a nice job, too - that was a great song choice for her. Haley, Antonella, time to go.

I'd also like to express my adoration for Simon Cowell.

Simon gets a bad rap but he doesnt sugar coat things and he really knows what hes talking about. I've always liked him lol

I agree. I always get annoyed when people boo him. I was watching American Idol Rewind (of Season 1), and they booed him like CRAZY any time he had a critical comment. At least the audience now respects his opinion and knows he's not patronizing. (Although, Paula has amped down her patronizing as well...)

this is gonna be a throw down

Got behind several pages, so not gonna catch up *just* now...homework I should get on pretty soon! Anyway, I *totally* agree above....but my favorites are Lakisha and Melinda, by a wideeeeeeee margin. I agree with something I read by Mary Lou...and what we noticed right away...it's so nice to see someone who's not *overly* conceited or anything in Melinda...yeah, you have to have confidence, but some of them are just annoyingggly cocky. I hope Melinda or Lakisah take it this year. For the guys, I do like Sundance...and Corey likes Blake the best...I like him too, actually. (Craig even actually likes Melinda when he happens to wander through and she's on he watches.. :lol: we both thought she was good from auditions right up thru now, but he normally doesn't watch at ALL :P ) The Jack Osborne when he was heavier lookalike is pretty likeable too, IMO, but I dunno....I have to go with L. or M....and I won't be able to pick a fave between them I don't think....so, goooooo...whoever! :lol: M.

PS...omgosh..and Anntonella..or however you spell it..oh pleaseeeeeeeee pleaseeeeeeeeee let her be gone....she HURTS MY EARS, bigtime...yipes. I liked that Sanjaya got thru in auditions, too, but since the first show I heard him sing I am SO over THAT! M.
