Love watching the idiots sing!! Dont they have friends that tell them they suck,lol Once they get down to the real performers, dont really follow it

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I'll definitely be watching as well! We enjoy the tryouts most. Im sure we will have more of Simon's cheeky remarks, drunken Paula and What's up Dawg from Randy. :lol:

I'll be watching. One of the football players from Appalachian State, where my mom and I both work, tried out. He made it to Hollywood but got cut after that. He quit school and the National Championship winning football team to try out. My mom says he's a wonderful singer. Her and the coaches were all sure he'd win. He said they want someone with a sad story behind them, like Fantasia, to win and that was why he got cut. I'm not sure, I haven't heard him sing myself. He's back in school now, but I'm sure it was a good experience for him.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I haven't seen the USA version, only the UK one with Simon Cowell, Sharon Osborne and the little ####### Louis Walsh.

Does anyone know who won the Brit X-Factor last year? I missed the end cos I moved to the States.
