Our case ended up at TSC and EVERYONE around that time that filed at TSC was getting approved in DAYS; it wasn't just CSC filers. A lot of the fiances from around that time are already here. Meanwhile we are still waiting for NVC to recieve our case. This process is horrible, I absolutely hate it. They don't give you insight into how things work, so you have no clue what's going on and WHY some people get approved so quickly while others, like us, took 6 months for an approval. It really takes a toll on you mentally and emotionally. THE WAITING SUCKS. Some people just move quickly regardless of location, and there really isn't an explanation for it, that's just how it is :(

Hi everybody,

In my blunt opinion , complain about the obvious waiting in TSC its useless and only its an emotional negative burden that dont help people at all. Each one of us (and our significan other too) knew since the beginning that the waiting game will be part of this. Its a fact that each one of us must stop to hurting ourselves feeling miserable or depressed cause anothers gets aproved; we must learn to deal with it in a mature way because we are not teens waiting for the prom night. This its a serious procedure that takes time not matter what, add the fact that the conditions of each couple are way different. Dont think that you are special and you deserve special treatment from USCIS, things happens for a reason not matter if you like it or not and thats the raw truth.

I suggest use our free time in possitive activities to get distracted of the waiting. My suggestion its that we have the choice to focus in important stuff that are running nowadays in our life in our country, sucha as keep doing ok in work, save money, get a hobby, spend quality time with friends and family that we probably not gonna see soon when we move to USA.

Crying and complaining all the time about the waiting its useless, we only need keep strong and accept the fact that we cant do anything but wait because in the end of the day the waiting will be worth it.

Good day to everyone.

Some advice to everyone waiting.

Do not log on Visajourney if you cant handle seeing people get approvals before you even if they submitted petitions after you did. You are going to cry and pull your hair out, I know because I did it in the beginning of our waiting too.

Life isn't fair and this isn't a perfect world, yes it sucks and it is depressing waiting longer than other people. This process is not for the weak at heart and you will need to be strong or keep yourself occupied until you get your NOA2.

It WILL happen though I promise! after going on more than 5 months of waiting, writing our senators and putting in a service request, we finally got our approval.

Unfortunately until you pass the 5 month mark, you have 0 control over when you get approved. You do however have control over coming to this site and reading people getting approvals. Check back less frequently at least, the time we have to wait to be with our loved ones forever is just a drop in a bucket of water.

Be strong! Be positive! Only you can change your outlook on this matter! Good luck!

Just be positive and Pray harder! Welcome to this Journey.

We sent our packet July 2013. We waited for 7 months just to receive a rejection notice. It said, our K1 visa form was outdated. We checked many times before sending it and things were actually okay.

Yes! 7 months of no email or anything from them. We sent the packet again and that made us April 2014 filers. This give us Round 2 of waiting game. haha

Yes! It is frustrating seeing those people with their petitions getting approved. I guess each case is different.

Hang in there people, we will receive our NOA 2... just keep on waiting. ^^

No way. Seriously ? and they would give you know expedition priority ? that sucks ... man I'm so nervous if I use the correct form now ... how do we know this ??

No.. Waiting for 7 months without notice does not guarantee us that they will expedite our application.. My lover and I will still undergo the normal process, which is to wait for the average 5 months. I went crazy and mad, but I had no control over this matter. Did you not make 3 copies of your packet??? But I think you used the newest form if you have filed like this year.. They changed the form last year.

OMG. Same here. Actually were July 2013 filers and we got denied last December. My fiance decided to start all over again he sent packet last February.

GoodLuck to us.

I bugged my guy to call them and do follow ups. He called twice. First call, they said, they have the application and they would email us after 2 weeks. No email.. So we called again.. Same information given. So we waited for another two weeks. Then in March, we received that they rejected our application.. It was sad and frustrating.

I am still wondering what happened there and what took them so long to inform us.

My lover just tells me whenever I get cranky on them that waiting is just okay... After this process, we have forever. That soothes a lil. ^^ but really?? It sucks to wait.

This form

USCIS Form I-129F OMB No. 1615-0001 Expires 06/30/2016

Form I-129F 06/13/13 N

is the correct one right ? somehow you got me really nervous here :(

Yes, that form. That expired while we wait for our NOA1. I am sorry to make you nervous, but I do really believe that if you did file just this year, you had the new form. :)

Not sure what this thread is about even after I went back to read the first post??? Are you complaining that yours is not going thru after two weeks or did you have something else specfic to ask about?

I would say expect five to seven months wait before your NOA2 comes thru, then you have another month or two to schedule for interview and wait for visa to be approved, looking at 7 to 10 months realistical time in total before your process is done. As for myself, I'm not even calling TSC until the five month mark comes since I need some leverage before calling these clowns.

Hope this clarifies things for you, but don't expect people to have sympathy for you when you have no sensitivity/consideration for others. It's a sure way to earn some hate from people who are already frustrated for the exact same reason you are, but worse since they waited for much longer time.

Just trying to clarify things, not be a part of a lynching mob. Good luck to us all!

I really have nothing useful to add except I got a laugh out of, "I need some leverage before I call these clowns."

Hahaha... I have been on the phone with them quite a few times and sadly they ARE clowns.
