It's getting depressing seeing all the quick CSC approvals when we're all still patiently waiting our turn. Getting harder to grin and bear it when we applied at the same time & they're already approved :(

We filed April 23rd & received NOA1 on April 29th.

09/22/2014- Received electronic NOA2 dated 9/19/2014

12/16/2014- Medical Exam

And not all that long ago, the people at VSC were complaining that CSC was faster. And before long it will go back the other way. Swings and roundabouts people. At just over 2 weeks, wherever you are, you are in for a wait.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

It took my friend 5 months before she received her approval from USCIS and it's taking more than a month for NVC. to assign a case #. You just started the process. Take a deep breath and calm down.

You can't be serious. You got your NOA1 two weeks ago!

Uh yeah. And there are people who filed at the exact same time who were sent to CSC instead & now have their NOA2. That's what I'm talking about..it's depressing because being at TSC means we have no hope for a NOA2 that quick.

I think y'all are missing the point of what this was about. As part of the April Filers thread, person after person was coming back saying they've already been approved. I knew going in to expect the 5+ months of wait. So what I was simply saying was it's depressing to know I'm in for that wait when I keep seeing all these people from CSC with approvals in DAYS, not months. I'm well aware of my wait time.

Again, I'm well aware of the wait time. I was part of the April

filers thread & everyone from CSC kept coming back & saying they had their NOA2 within days of filing. Some at the same time as me who were already approved. We talked about starting a TSC-only thread so we didn't have to see it because yes, it's depressing to keep seeing all the CSC people already approved. I started this for us then someone said there already was one. I can't find how to delete this one so here we are.

Again, I'm well aware of the wait time. So stop yelling at me like I'm complaining I haven't gotten my NOA2 yet. That's not the case. It's that us at TSC have no hope of an approval as quick as a lot of the CSC filers. Geez.

Andrey, from what I know at CSC they work faster because they have mostly Philiphines and Army cases, because of this. So as I said... take a sit and relax :D

CSC handles petitions for the majority of mid-west and western states - not just Philippines and army cases. CSC is moving more quickly because they do not have the backlog that TSC has.

Yeah I know how you feel and it is going to be an upsetting time but you have to try and look more into the future that it won't be like this forever and that will make you feel a little better. Try not to pay attention to the CSC people as they are going to get approvals faster due to them having no backlog at all, it's extremely unfair and such yes but honestly only thing we can do is voice our opinions and such and hope for the best. Hang in there as we are all in the same situation being at TSC and that makes it a bit more soothing knowing so many others are going through what we are as well :)

you'd think that those also at TSC could sympathize with you! geez! i see where you are coming from and don't think you are complaining about not having your NOA2 two weeks after filing.

i knew going into this process that i should expect to wait 5 months for the NOA2. but seeing people get approved in a few weeks at CSC - while knowing that you will be waiting the full 5 months - is very difficult!!

consider contacting your senators and letting them know about the discrepancy in processing times between the two processing centers. same form and same fees...but some getting approved in 2 weeks while others waiting 5+ months. i don't understand why they couldn't do something to balance out the volume at the two centers so TSC can get caught up.

I'm drafting an email to my senator, sign the release form and get it ready. I'm telling you, by that 5th month mark, I'll hit send at 12 mid night LOL ... I'm getting ready for this ...

Thank y'all..I wrote my fiancé practically in tears. I just didn't understand why I was getting attacked for something other people were saying too. It's nice to know I'm not alone in feeling like this & y'all understand what I was talking about because you're going through this too. My fiancé asked about the contacting the congressman thing but honestly I think it's way too early. Then again, if writing about the time frame discrepancies, it's not too early as we've seen countless people (from other countries besides the Phillipines) getting very quick approvals. I understood when it was just the Phillipines because of the typhoon. But I got to looking & there were a lot of other countries getting approved just as quickly. Not expecting anything but months ahead, but it still sucks.
