I crossed through Sweetgrass as well. Man it was a weird feeling to get in my car and see Canada in the rearview mirror, thinking I am not going back for awhile!

I'll miss canada... It's a little culture shock... Very little change but, it's just the foods I'll never get here that I want from back home.

Especially the "All you can eat sushi"!!

Now the next step, Marriage License! Which we want to do NOW! But it's a little tricky. One court house asks to have a SSN and another court house just said ID and Birth certificate?

If we wait for a SSN; it might be cutting it close to my due date and we need to get my butt on his health insurance ASAP!

Does anyone have an opinion about this? Should I wait for a SSN? Or, just go ahead and sign the documents? I'm 35 weeks along, SSN might take another 2-4 weeks? It's cutting it close.

SSN ? they dont ask for it in Vegas im sure, and out of towners who marry in Hawaii...

This one court house required SSN. I called another court house in a different county, they were okay without me having a SSA, legally I would be married in this state.

That's another confusing thing, how are you only legally married in just that one state?

No once you're married, you're married. The only time state rules come into play is 1st cousins and same sex marriages.
