Parole in Place (PIP) for military member's family

I am a OIF/OEF combat veteran and I submitted an I-131 for PIP purposes for my spouse. The process was an ordeal as the PIP package needs to be submitted to the persons local USCIS office. I realized this after my package had been sent back a couple of times.

Once I submitted the package, I received a Notice of Action on March 10, 2014 that the package was received. Well, now it's been over two months and I have not received a biometrics appointment for my wife. The local USCIS office is also uncooperative. They are also very vague in their responses and have not issued any formal processes. PIP for military members is not a process USCIS has made an effort to announce.

Has anyone experienced this issue? What is the timeline to receive a response from them? How did you overcome not getting a response from USCIS? From some of post on here it's seems we should have received a response by now. Any help is appreciated.

If you all have any questions about PIP, feel free to fire away. I'm not an attorney, but I have become familiar with the initial process.

Hi there. We sent pip in december to our local uscis for wife. In february we received notice of receipt and notice to fi ngerprint. May 19th received i72 request for additional information. We are satisfied with progress so far. I have also spoken to uscis officers and foun d that I am more informed in the procedure than they are. Just one of those things.
