I didn't realize Chiang Mai was an international terminal. I'll need to look into that.

Interesting. I just got an AA credit card where the give you 30k 50k miles for signing up and spending $3k in the next 3 months. That will put me right at the 80k needed for a R/T ticket to Thailand. My wife is on the flight from Seoul to DFW right now and that puts us together over 80k on Korean Looks like I can fly Cathay to Hong Kong next time on American (60 year old useless flight attendants) and just hop a cheap airline flight to Chiang Mai from there. Don't have to deal with swampy and Bangkok going that route either. So free plane tickets for both of us on the next trip. Now the trick is convincing her that the only way it'll be free is if I go alone a day before her. :idea:
