It's not egocentric, it's pragmatic. We are the dominant species and we want to survive.

Egocentric is effing up the environment, and then either refusing to acknowledge that it has a long term negative impact or ignoring the impacts in order to get rich.

Alright I am going to tell everyone what the real problem is. I usually don't give a rats patootie because most everyone here is a mossy rock but I will go ahead and tell y'all.

It is over population. There are too many of us and we are going to double the population every so many years over and over until we are no more. It will be awful. Mass deaths and starvation. Many will turn to cannibalization. We will have massacres unlike any before. More than likely nukes will tossed around making life even more hellish. The best way to stop suffering will be to just kill oneself. It will be a nasty business.

As for the fake science about Global Change? It is all an illusion corrupt politicians are using to make new billionaires from the new industries that will be adopted. People are sheep though and buy it. smh.

We are slowly pushing the planet into a different climate reality..

The only thing that is being pushed it BS. The climate has been changing forever.....always will be. Humans cannot change it.

You can cry gloom and doom all you want,but nothing will change. The planet will be just fine. The temp may go up or down. We don't know and we can't control it.

Why worry about it?
