question about DS260 application

so im filling out the DS260 for my mother Im the USC. the question about what work will she be doing when she gets to the US. What am I suppose to answer there? She is close to 60 and frankly Ill be the one taking care of her. I did put NOT EMPLOYED but it wants me to explain. How do I explain it so it doesnt look like she will be a burden. I have a good job and can care for her, medical and all?

How about "Retired"? If that doesn't work, I would put something like "homemaker", meaning that she would mostly be doing house work or house management.

You can put unemployed, doesn't matter really. They don't care if the beneficiary will be employed or not as long as the petitioner has income that meets the poverty guidelines hence the affidavit of support.
