Just got our packet 4

Hopefully this is just the start of lots of interview dates for people. Andy called me this morning saying our packet 4 has come!! There's definately no telling how they give these interview days out. We sent in our packet 3 just before Christmas, it should have gotten to the Embassy on the 23rd. Maybe it got thrown on the top of someones desk before they ran out the door for Christmas holidays. Anyway, at least things are moving at the embassy, however strangely. As cheesy as it sounds, your time will come! For every five packet 4's sent out, at least 1 is left behind that sent in their P3 before everyone else. It's a buggar...but hopefully you won't have to wait much longer.

Once the recorded message answers, just press 1, then press 0, then press 0 again...no need to keep waiting for the message to finish speaking.

This is the State Department in Washington DC. They can tell you if your Visa date has been allocated and if your forms have been entered into the computer. We found out our interview date from them even before our letter was posted.

They are really nice...so much nicer than the London Embassy.

Just be sure to have your Case Number ready!!!

Oh, they are on Eastern time and only open from 8:30 til 5pm Monday to Friday.
