Look at upcoming bulletin - judging from it, your chances are slim and at best you get interview July - August 2015.

The thing is , I was checking visa bulletins from previous years and my CN became current in most of them except the last 2 years, do you know why? and can the cutoff move more quickly this year?

Thanks a lot

Three years ago was different (I believe) due to an error and a repeated draw. Whether it can go quicker for 2015 - noone knows, you have to wait and see. Nobody can really tell you anything now, maybe a year from now it will be little clearer...

What do you mean, "except" the last two years?? All numbers for all regions have been current by year end the last two years. Edited by SusieQQQ

I'm sorry Susie you're right, I wasn't paying much attention I'm sorry.

One question though: does CURRENT guarantee that all applicants can get a visa? for example in 2013 the last CN to get a visa was AS 10682 (according to a CEAC sheet I found somewhere)

does that mean that 10682 was the last CN to apply or could there be other applicants with higher CNs who didn't get a chance?

and if you don't mind, what do you think of my chances?

Thank you!

If you read the visa bulletin properly you will see they describe current as meaning visas are available for all applicants in the category marked current.

I really don't know about chances. This year had way more selectees than usual. If your equivalent dv2014 number gets current then there is an excellent chance it will be current in 2015 (less selectees). If not... It will be a long wait and see I am afraid.

DV-2015 Selectee - Case Number EU30,7xx - Interview estimate: May/June 2015 (?) - Might try to do AOS though it looks like it might be worse this year

Sorry guys I have a question:

I am a medical student expecting to graduate in August this year, is it better to wait until after I graduate to fill out DS-260, or better to file it as early as possible? my CN is AS2015000108**

I also put in my DV entry application "Some college courses" cuz i haven't graduated yet, that won't be a problem right?

Thanx!
