Anybody else have this hopefully auspicious date at London? I've noticed there seems to be a lot of interviews lately!

Mine is the day after! I'm starting to get a wee bit nervous now...

Be sure to drop by on the day and let us know how it went!

My portal shows five in London on 5/19, but I use the UK portal. Do they show on your England portal?

I had mine yesterday and i must Admit a lot different than i thought. The guy was more interested in my savings than my sponsor i-134 from my friend in the US.

He probed on how will i be able support myself for the 6ish months without work ?? I said look at my savings i can survive for a year easy and he then after a lot more question ranging from my partner job history to who my sponsor is i got my approval.

40 mins i was in interview and my package was very good he said.

Happy happy

Thank you!

  • Interview letter
  • DS-260 confirmation with barcode
  • Passport
  • Passport photos (US size)
  • Printout of courier letter
  • I-864EZ printout

Plus probably not needed (but I know a lot of others do this too)... printout of NOA1 and copy of original I-130 submission and my wife's last 3 years tax transcripts and last 3 pay stubs.

Random question... my interview is at 9am, if I get there at say 8am will they let me in to the Embassy?

Half an hour before, you could maybe squeeze 45 minutes if its quite, but they'll tell you to wait if you turn up any earlier than that.

Yes, it's first come first served. People start queuing as early as 7:00. Doors open at 7:30 (start moving the line through security). Screens inside turn on at 8:00 and they start calling and posting numbers to show who is called.

Thank you! I think my coach gets into London at about 6am so might as well head straight there and join the queue.

If anyone else has interviews on the 19th look out for the nervous looking guy with bad sunburn! lol
