Timeline

Hello everyone, please i have some questions concerning civil documents at NVC i mail them all certified copies that came from Nigeria with stamps of certified true copy on them, they sent me another email thise afternoon that they want original or certified copy of his birth certificate and i did thise already. Secondly abouth my joint sponsor on part 2 does she put my husband name there? Thanks for you answers.

They are real picky about certified copies did you get it directly from the National Populations Commission?

And yes the Principal Immigrant is who is being petitioned your husband.

Thanks dwheels76 for ur help all the time you're always on point, God will bless you on that. Yes there is national population commission on it and it was certified at high court registry. Please i have another question in part 5 line 1 it say enter the number you entered in line 7 part 3 but i put my husband name on part 2. What should i put there? Thanks again.

You are sponsoring 1. Like it says whatever number you put in Part 3 you put there which is 1.

As far as the Birth certificate. It needs to certified not by high court it has to be certified by the agency that gave it to you which was NPC. That's what makes it a certified copy of the original no other body can officiate it.

Your husband will have to go back to NPC and get another copy they certified it when they gave to him. he needs not have to take anywhere else.

Thanks he will be sending me original copy of it in the morning with DHL so i can get it by Friday. But before i put is name on part 3 and they sent me checklist from nvc that i don't suppose to put anything on part 3 i should leave it blank.
