Internal thought: What in the @!~#?~ !!!!

So, my I-751 was sent back today, send out 4/22. Someone looked at it theirs a few stamps on there. It was sent back with a blue notice saying that the signatures must not be photocopied or be prepared by someone else. Considering the ink bled through the page i'm assuming it's because my signature is slightly different. Changed for professional and aesthetic reasons over the last 3 years. My drivers license has the new signature on it so I'm going to resend the entire thing tomorrow. Considering I expire tomorrow i'm assuming because someone looked at it that I'm in the system and there shouldn't be any issues.

I have a few questions though, can I sign the form in blue in just to be certain they won't think it's a photo copy?? Also on the blue form stating the issue it said resent the evidence and applications when I've complied, I'm assuming it wants me to send new applications I have some already printed I just need to sign in case something like this happened. This sets me back so i'm a little miffed. People that have already been following my enquiries over the week already know I'm a little short on this stuff. I don't mean to be I'm just over it.

Also, when I resubmit they game me the address I sent it to before only with no Po Box number, files at Vermont. I was wondering if I send it back to the PO box or if I send it to the explicit address that they gave which again is the same only without the PO Box.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm sending this ####### back out first thing tomorrow. I really can't imagine anyone looking at this and finding any legit problem, but if I have to resend I have to resend.

Thanks again

Okay, some answer then,

Yes, sign in blue ink, that is fine.

Check your wife's signature too.

Make sure you sign on the right line and not on the "preparer's line."

Then, just send everything back. No need to make new forms (except maybe the signature page, I guess).

Send it to where they say on the form. It's probably all the same place.

Also, put all your effort together and sign it the same way you signed it back then whether it is aesthetically nice, or not. I mean they identify people by their signatures and since the only signature they have in hand is back when you applied for your first green card, they won't call up the DMV and say "can you please check if this lady happen to decide to change their signatures?". This is just an advice, but up to you. I would not keep changing my signature as that might raise some eyebrows in the near future. Suppose you'll need your marriage license in the future for something...they might just shove it back when they compare that signature with what you have decided to change it into now. I may be way out of line, but something to consider...good luck!
