My opinion? Write back with what you've done so far. It's nice he's trying to do something, but what about right now? You've paid your money and followed the steps, there's no reason to be in AP more than 6 months. If it's a denial or a kickback, get on it. They're holding you and him in place, and that's wrong. Find out who he reports to and take it up higher. Remember what I said, never take no from someone who can't say yes.

Call your Congressman and Senator Complain loud and often.

I know someone that works at the VSC. She gave me a lot of inside scopp on what goes on behind the scenes. She said that when they get a congressional inquiry they do tend to bump it along, if nothing else is wrong just to aviod hassle and becuse that is who funds them so to speak

I know it's not the VSC that is the problem,, still

It's a start, we need to tweak it up. Make the heart strings a bit tighter. Sleep on it, think about the times you were with him. And pull from that.

No problem. I say that because you can dwell on what you need to say. When my wife was in AP, I sent a long email to the Consular officer. I put my soul into it. It might have helped.
