Hi, I need some help.

I am from Norway and I was wondering how often you can visit the US with the VWP program? (or the tourist visa)

The reason why I'm asking is because I visited my boyfriend in January. I had the opportunity to visit him for 3 weeks in January because everyone at my previous job got laid off from January 1st 2014. I left Norway January 3rd since I didnt have anything to do back home, I decided to be there for almost througout the 90 days. I went back home on March 29th. When I got back home I took some exams from my high school to prove my grades.

Now my boyrfriend is going to visit me in Norway from May 16th-26th. The plan is for me to go back with him so that I can spend my summer with him before I have to go back to University here in Norway in August. That means that it is almost new 90 days that I am going to be in the US... When I go back to Norway I will not have the opportunity to come down to the US for probably a long time. After reading all this horror stories, I am now afraid that they're going to deny my entrance. I was also in the US in July 2013 for a Summer School to learn English. This is when I met my boyfriend. I was there for 4 weeks. So this trip is going to be the 3rd time in one year.

I am not trying to get married or immigrant to the US, I just want to spend some time with my boyfriend since it's now I have the opportunity and time to do so, I will not have that after I'm starting my school. How can I convince them? :( I have been thinking about to take an invoice with me that connects me to my homeadress and I can show them another letter where it shows how much taxes I paid, how much savings I have and my salary for 2013. Would that be for any help? And of course my return ticket as well.

If some of you wonder, the reason why I can afford travel back and forth is because I took a year off and worked after high school (which is really common in Norway) to save up money. I lived at home while I was working.

Thank you. :)

I don't think there's a limit to how many times you can visit but it's my understanding that you may not spend more than 6 months every year there.

I think that is correct. If you visit more than 6 months in any 12 month period of time chances are they will cancel your Visa. We can not predict how the immigration officer at POE will react to your second visit but typically they ask where you are staying, how long you will be staying, and sometimes request proof of a return ticket to your country. They may ask additional questions to determine if you are trying to stay illegally or plan on marrying someone during your visit to immigrate. All illegal if entering on a tourist visa. Be prepared for lots of questions.

The kindness we give to others may never be recognized by the ugly souls we encounter in the vast jungle of humanity, but what we give will echo brilliantly in the smiles of those who have received it.
