Which one is more recommended and why? or doesn't matter? any specifics on how to send the package, such as insured or anything else?

Any idea how much it cost? asking out of curiosity

10/11/16 (Day 71) Biometrics completed. *Also, received on the mail response letter from previous service request filed with copy of Biometrics appointment letter.

11/11/17 (Day 466) Case Status changed to New Card Production

11/16/17 (Day 471) Case Status indicate  New Card being sent on the mail .:dance::dance::D:dance::dance::dance:

11/17/17 (Day 472) I-797  Notice of Removal of Condition being approved received in the mail.

11/20/17 (Day 475/15 months 18 days) New Lawful Permanent Resident arrived in the mail; card in hand at last! :dancing:

Most here just use USPS, personally I used FedEx and it was about $30 for that extra peace of mind.

Thank you! as for the envelope, should I use a big enough bubbled one? The envelope I received from the Civil Surgeon it is bigger than letter size.

I sent my package USPS express mail overnight shipping with tracking + signature required and it was $19.99, got there on time and safely.

I put everything in a pre-packaged envelope that they can give you at the Post Office.

My civil surgeon envelope was bigger too, I just held it up to the light and you can see where the actual paper line is so I just folded over the sides to make it fit in the pre-made envelope, didn't have any issues.

We were K-1/K-2, we followed the VJ K1/K3 AOS Guide and had no problems:

Where to File Everything:

Applicants are required to mail applications to a national mailbox (Chicago) as stated on the form (not your local USCIS office). Be sure to mail the package with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation. Send via USPS.
