Rescheduled

My fiancé's interview which was set for May 30 was moved to June 6 at 6:15am.... ummm are they serious? 6:15am?!

Anyway... whatever... I'm a little disappointed. I had my travel plans all semi set...

arrive in manila may 28

interview on may 30

fly to iloilo for a week

come back to manila and chill for a bit

then fly back to guam with or without him on june 14.

now i don't know where i'll fit iloilo in my itinerary...

this sucks.

whats the point of letting us pick our interview date if they are just going to reschedule?!

Yeah, it does happen. Most of the time, it's due to last minute US embassy activities like US dignitaries visiting, etc. Last time they moved out schedules for Pres. Obama's visit.

But in any case, your fiance should check with the USEM hotline as well, just to make sure. Good luck and hopefully you guys will still find some time to squeeze in that Iloilo vacation.

Thanks. Im debating if we will just go to iloilo the day after i arrive in manila which is may 29...

i did go on ustraveldocs and sent them a message that i received a letter from the us embassy regarding this matter.. so hopefully they get back to me...

oh well.. i guess it'll be ok.

Yeah, I guess that's the best alternative for you guys. I just remembered you were the one who posted about the BC issue, hope that's resolved by now too. Your fiance is very fortunate to have you by his side for the interview, I was not as lucky. It will surely be a breeze for you guys!

p.s. When in Iloilo, don't miss their yummy delicacies! I'm not from there, but I love their inasal, batchoy, molo, KBL, butterscotch, piyaya! Namit guid!

I am sorry this happened to you, but at least they made an effort to reschedule you in a reasonable amount of time. If you think about it, they could have been complete bastards and put you off to August, and there would not be a damn thing you could do about it.

Use the extra week to do the "once over". If you find something that would have gotten you a 221(g), then it will be a blessing in disguise.

Hey 6:15 is good! You will get done early. My sched was 6:30 and got done at 11:30am while my friend sched was 6:15 and got done at 9:30. Just be there as early as you can because the que is long even if you arrive at 5:30am. That is if you want to get done earlier.
