The main issue is religion....Islamic slavery. They enslaved over a million to a million and a half black folks. over the last 1400 years or so. There are still slave markets. Some of these girls are as young as 9 to be married off or if she does not convert be a slave.... What is that name for people who breed 9 and 10 year old children. .. In this case just call her a slave everything is fine. ... This just brings to light . You did notice just christian girls were kidnapped. Just return to that story about that basket ball player... That for certain is more important than the slave trade.

No, if they weren't Muslim, they'd make up another reason to do what they're doing.

Slavery in that region predates Islam. That statement will alarm Muslims who like to peddle the myth that their faith is eternal, but who cares? Many things predate Islam, like slavery and the Arabic language, and they were co-opted by their prophet to smoothen out the transition to Islam. Kind of the same reason the U.S. Constitution did not explicitly ban slavery either.

Slavery as a problem far predates Islam... the Pyramids weren't built by unionized labour were they. The west was hardly shy about utilising slaves either.

The problem is when one race believes itself superior to another in whatever way. Romans- Roman citizens couldn't be slaves but if you weren't a citizen your life was dirt. Europeans and Americans using slave labour because lives of Africans were cheap. African tribes hacking each other to death like in Rwanda because they don't want to be ruled by the other tribe. Japanese using Chinese and Western prisoners of war as slave labour because they were just foreigners. In this case the Islamists believe themselves superior to the "infidels" and treat them accordingly.

I know it's easy in your right wing world of looking through the wrong end of the telescope to blame Islam for everything because you believe all the propaganda but there are evil people in every race and religion!

Added some words to your post Hotter. Spot on.

“Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated.” – Coretta Scott King

"Oppressive language does more than represent violence; it is violence; does more than represent the limits of knowledge; it limits knowledge." -Toni Morrison

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.

Please don't share your fantasies with us. There are some things that cannot be unseen in the mind's eye.

Sorry Ma'am I would have apologized earlier, but I just got out of the 24 hour hole LOL

I am sure your misconception is shared by others. It is a common mistake.
