Oh there's usually a reason some of the more active posters "disappear" from time to time. I think the suspensions are pretty normal for the P&R folks.

Here is what I don't understand. This place runs off ad revenue and traffic. It's not like a Amazon, where people come back for years. Most get their Visa and are done. This forum was a lot of good steady traffic day in day from repeat IP's.

I don't think we're as important as we think we are. This place gets all the traffic it needs from repeat IP's with 100 page long threads of:

This forum is somewhat cyclical in attendance but has been declining since it was broken away from OT. I would say for every 5 members that leave, 3 replace them. After a few years of that its bound to decline.
