Hello!

My mother filed a I-130 for my siblings in 2004. Three(3) of them are approved in 2005 and other one(1) in 2010. It has been over 9 years my question is. Do we have to wait for a letter instruction from NVC before we can call them and see if my sibling's priority date is current?

Hi J3MJ3M,

I thought I was the luckiest person on earth today when I got a letter from USCIS saying that my siblings petition has been approved and the case has been forwarded to NVC. I forgot that it's not gonna move until visa bulletin becomes current to our priority date. I just checked visa bulletin and it shows they are now processing July 2013 priority dates. Your sibling's priority date should be current now.

Thank you,

AJ

Sorry to disappoint you even more, but I think you need to look at the visa bulletin (http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/law-and-policy/bulletin/2014/visa-bulletin-for-may-2014.html) again. The current priority date for processing F2B visas (over 21 unmarried sons and daughters of LPRs) for Philippine nationals is June 22, 2004. So, unfortunately, OP, none of your siblings have a current priority date -- but you're getting closer!
