Three people were found shot dead in the Dallas area on Saturday in what police are calling a murder-suicide at the hands of a bitter ex-girlfriend.

Michelle Boyer, 45, was discovered dead in her car from a self-inflicted gun shot wound. She left behind a note that police say detailed the ghastly scene she'd left behind in nearby Murphy. Police found the gunned down, partially clothed bodies of Boyer's 40-year-old ex Jonathan Masin and another woman, 38-year-old Amy Picchiotti.

Clearly she was a muslim ;)
Seriously of course, the forces of sexual jealousy are very strong, and very, very misdirected. Another tragedy.

If you end a relationship with someone always do it with as much respect as possible and never ever rub their nose in it.. Humiliated rejection from someone who has strong feelings is of those things that can turn otherwise normal people into temporarily insane lunatics.

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect

A love triangle is believed to have led a woman to kill two people in Murphy before taking her own life on a Dallas street, officials say.

Michelle Boyer’s body was found Saturday in her SUV in the 100 block of Leda Drive, northeast of White Rock Lake, hours after her ex-boyfriend Jonathan Masin and her close friend Amy Picchiotti were found fatally shot.

A suicide note Boyer left has not been released, but a city of Murphy spokesman said the “tone of the note” indicated Masin, 40, also had a “romantic connection” with Picchiotti.

Records indicate Boyer had once lived at Masin’s home, where the two bodies were found, partially clothed and barefoot in separate rooms.

Murphy spokesman Celso Martinez confirmed Boyer, 45, was Masin’s ex-girlfriend. They both had worked at Texas Instruments.

Brian Hasenbauer, who knew both women well, said Boyer told him she was in a committed relationship with Masin when she learned Picchiotti, one of her best friends, was also having a relationship with him.

“We discussed the situation, and we tried to provide her comfort in dealing with the pain she was experiencing,” Hasenbauer wrote in an email. “We never imagined that this would ever happen, and we are praying for those that lost their lives.”

Boyer and Picchiotti were members of a close-knit group of triathletes in Dallas.

Gayle Mortola of Dallas, who once trained with the women, said she and her friends were stunned by news of the deaths.

“There’s nothing I know about ... [boyer] that would lead me to believe she’d do anything like that at all,” she said.

Boyer’s SUV was found near the home of her ex-husband, Charles Hobbs. Besides the suicide note found with her body, police also recovered a handgun they say is similar to the one used to kill Masin and Picchiotti.

Hobbs, who has declined to comment, and Boyer wed in 2009 but filed for divorce after a year of marriage, according to public records. The divorce was finalized in March 2011.

Public records also show Picchiotti filed for divorce from her husband of almost seven years in March. He could not be reached for comment. The couple had two young children.

Picchiotti, 38, had indicated on Facebook in February that she spent time in Fredericksburg with Masin, describing it as her “perfect morning.”

Stacy Mullikin of Highland Park met Picchiotti through triathlons about a decade ago. They reconnected several years ago when Picchiotti signed up for Mullikin’s boot camp to get back in shape after she had a baby.

Mullikin said that though she’s heartbroken about her friend’s death, Picchiotti “would want us to stay on the positive.”

Her enthusiasm for life was obvious, even during difficult training, Mullikin said.

“It would be pitch black in the morning and Amy had such a contagious light about her,” she said.

Picchiotti was “very giving to her friends” and often organized parties and baby showers for them, Mullikin said.

She often talked about her two young daughters.

“With it being Mother’s Day, I know she’d want us to be with our children and celebrate her life rather than mourn,” Mullikin said.
