Good afternoon guys, I am confused and would like some help filling out the I-864 form as a Joint Sponsor.

Background

My aunt is petitioning her 2 adult daughters and each daughter has 2 children as derivative beneficiaries. She lives alone in the USA. My aunt does not meet the income threshold for a household size of 7 (herself, her 2 children and 4 grandchildren) and I will become a joint sponsor.

I read that for each separate visa petition you will need a different I-864 form. In my aunt’s case two I-130 forms were filed for her daughters, with their kids listed as beneficiaries on both. How many I-864 forms will both of us need to submit assuming that I am sponsoring 3 people (1 daughter and two of their kids) and she is sponsoring the others?

When filling out the I-864 for each daughter, can she list their kids under Part 3, 2(a) being that they will accompany the parent or will she be required to fill out a separate I-864 for each grandchild? Does she need to copy the forms?

On Part 5 of the I-864 form, what should she put in box 4? Should it be the total number of people in her household (7) or should she put zero because she lives alone over here and has no dependents? Should she also fill out box 5 for the people she’s filing for not listed on the current affidavit?

Filling out the I-864 as a joint Sponsor

Keep in mind that I’m only co-sponsoring 3 people. I know that I should check box 1d, but should I also fill out Part 2 subsection 1a for the principal immigrant that I am sponsoring as a joint sponsor? Should I fill out Part 3 for each of the kids of that principal applicant I’m sponsoring? I have zero dependents so I assume the total household size would be 4, am I correct?

Conclusion

My aunt makes roughly $22,000 annually and I make around $44, 000. For a family of 7 the poverty line is $45,037, does this mean that we would combine our total income to meet it?

I was told that the only documents I need to submit as a joint sponsor was a copy of my US passport biographic page and IRS tax transcripts for the last 3 years. However, I have been reading that W2s or a job letter is also required, is this correct?

I apologize for the length of my post but I just want to help her fill out the papers correctly with no RFE. Thanks for your time and help.
