this will sound sophomoric from me -

but

clear all of your browser's cache in IE also killing all the cookies

and

try again...

yep. i did that already.

fact is i went a bit further... trying to inspect/infer the asp code of this app... clearly it's a bug in their web app.

I had the same issue when I filled out the form for my stepson and stepdaughter. Stepson (17) had the work/education section. My stepdaughter (15) did not, but I just assumed it was because he's in high school and she's not so that was the reason. Never thought anything of it. Had no issues.

I would just fill out what they ask for on the form.

update:

so I called NVC this morning and explained what happened.

I was given the usual lines from the script: reboot. only use IE. do the rain dance while sacrificing a chicken on the altar....etc..

I explained that none worked and that this problem was reported earlier. I asked to speak to a supervisor. the supervisor didn't know what to do and asked me to send an email to nvcinquiry with screen shots attachments.

when asked if I should submit them and wait for the interview to explain what happened, she said "absolutely" not. wait until we reply.

so i emailed them what they asked for.

a few hours later i called again to see what kind of wisdom i can collect. did the initial courting routine then landed with a supervisor.

this time the supervisor told me she never heard of this problem and that i should go ahead and submit the applications because the computer knows best: "if it says no section...then no section it is".

love the consistency.

man, i'd be at the library trying another pc there....

any library.

anywhere.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

It's a not a pc problem. it's not a browser issues. it's an OS issue.

the server side code has a bug. it has been confirmed with NVC.

they're looking at it as I'm typing these words.

just like any other software, this particular web app has bugs. and i happen to stumble upon it.
