NVC approved, how long before interview

Just got my NVC approval letter and I'm sending my fiance her supporting documents in Argentina but I'm concerned they won't arrive before she's scheduled an interview. Ups wants a lot of money to deliver fast with a tracking number that I can see out of the USA. Anyone know of a reliable courier or how long it takes before she will have an interview? Thanks!

You've probably figured out an answer to your question by now, but I would use UPS to send the documents although they charge a lot. You want to be able to track them and you want them to get there safely and quickly. I used other carriers to send things to my husband when he was living in Argentina on 2 occasions and he never received them. So I would definitely use UPS.

If I remember correctly, once the US embassy in Argentina receives your application from NVC they will email you with a list of documents to send to the embassy and tell you what you need to do. Then, after you give them all of the documents they will schedule your interview. It did not take long for the interview to be scheduled after we sent them all the documents. If you have anymore questions specifically about Argentina, let me know and I will see what I can remember.

Thanks for the reply! I'm looking for the best way send the documents Argentina.I've read horror stories about DHL and uPS so I'm not sure of the best company to use. I was going send a cell phone and the docs together but I'm thinking it's best send them separate to avoid any chances of robbery. It's around 200-250 for either company which is fine if the package gets there. Expensive, but worth every penny in long run! Muchísimas gracias por todo tu ayuda!
