Hello,

I was issued my visa May 1st, and recieved it back with my passport May 8th. We were expedited (cr1) because my husband (usc) can be deployed at any time with only 12 hours notice. My son (USC to be) has an appointment at London Embassy this Friday May the 16th to get his citizenship (Certificate of Registered Birth Abroad, Social Security Number, and his first U.S passport which is required by law for him to travel to the U.S). Online it says a childs first U.S passport can take 5 weeks, well the Embassy are expecting me to travel between the last week of May and first week of June, as was written on my visa case as intended date to travel. Due to our circumstanes, would it be possible to request my childs U.S passport to be expedited? I dont care how much it costs, we will pay it, our family just needs to be together asap!

Please help,

Thank you!!

I am not sure if they are under the same policy with adults. We can pay extra 65 dollar to expedite the process and it could take 1 weeks to finish it ( I had done this before ). It could also take 1 day if you are near by the office who make passports.

Just ask them for more informations.
