i was selected this year and my case number is AF00079xxx , what do you think about this CN is it possible to be interviewed or do you think this is a very high number.

another question , my kid is about 4 years old and becuase iam divorced and i will not be able to take him to the US with me now but iam intending to take him there at least after six years ,so is it necessary to fill the DS 260 form for him or the DS 260 form I filled for my self including his informations is enough?

It's high but you should be safe judging by previous years.

And if you don't want a visa for your son now you don't need to fill in a form for him but as you have indicated, ensure that he is listed on your form.

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear that. You will need to directly contact the embassy that your interview was at to see if they can schedule a new date for you - KCC will have passed the file on to them when the interview was scheduled so has nothing more to do with your case. Good luck.

Do you mean you sent the necessary papers to KKC two months ago?

If so, it's hard to say, since they're interviewing much higher numbers in Africa now.

So your number should be current ;)

Check your e-mail account and the dv lottery site. You will receive all needed info there.

Hi, I'm from Ghana and a winner of DV lottery 2015. My CN is 2015AF00003XXX and I submitted my application on October 15 with my wife and I would like to find out when likely our interview will come off. Thank you

Although your number is current, KCC seems to be taking about 4 months to process forms and you won't be scheduled until your forms are processed. Furthermore, interview scheduling is only done once a month. So I'd estimate your forms get finished processing mid-Feb, you will then be in the round scheduled and notified in early March, for a May interview. With some luck they will have been processing faster by then and you would get an interview earlier than that.

Hi,

Regarding the appointment date, do you know if it's ok to call KCC just to know when it will be? My number will be current in February (next visa bulletin) and I'd prefer to know when next week, instead of waiting for 10-15 days to receive an email.

Thanks!

You can certainly try calling, but the experience of other posters tends to be that they only have the dates a couple of days before the website is updated (all the email does is tell you that there is an update) so I'm not sure how much. extra time you will actually gain.
