Hi guys,

So I got a RFE a month ago and promptly mailed it back. Even though it was certified mail, USPS lost it! They have no clue where it went after the sorting facility (I've been having this kind of luck with the entire adjustment of status but that's another story).

My question: since the original pink RFE letter was included in that packet that was lost by USPS, would I have a problem if I resent the packet with the copy of the pink letter? Do I need special permission from USCIS to do that? Do I need them to send me a new one? (Which would delay me further).

Thanks for your help. I'll happily provide more information to you guys if you need it to help me figure this out.

Hi,

We had 2 RFEs (first was yellow, second was pink) and both times we sent the copy, not the original RFE letter and had no issues. Sorry to hear about your bad luck! Hopefully things will go smoother from now on! Good luck!

I had two RFE as well, first one was yellow and the second one was pink, and they were both for the same reason (i864 joint sponsor) I responded to both promptly. The response to the second RFE is still in review since may 2 :( so we both are having bad luck with the status adjustment process. What u can do though, if you copied all the documents u sent to them, just resend another packet
