hi everyone! i'm new to the site and am in the process of filling out my k-1 forms for my fiance who is in Morocco. there are little details i am unsure of and i don't want something so minor to have my form rejected and keep my fiance far away even longer!

on the g-325a form it asks all your past addresses the last five years and last jobs. there is one address i lived at for only six months, almost five years ago and cannot remember the address, nor do i have it written anywhere. i lived abroad in england at this time. is this absolutely necessary to be correct? do they look into if you actually lived there or not? i remember the street, city, and could look up the post code but the number of the building i cannot recall. i would hate this to mess up my application!

also the main language in morocco is arabic. but their secondary language is french. on the forms it asks you to translate his name and address to his native language/alphabet........for anyone who applied for a visa with someone from morocco, can you just write this normally as you would french? i've sent him packages before with writing in english and they have gotten to him without issues. or do i need to have it written in arabic and then submit a paper translating it from someone authorized to? i'm really confused about this aspect of the application..............p

I had a similar 4 month travelling gap in between living in different countries, where I had no residence. I put in the exact dates for when I had a residence then wrote on the bottom line " july 05 - nov 05 extended travelling" I had no problems.. Just dont leave unexplained gaps.

I hope someone else can help you with the language question

good luck.

You might want to post in the Middle East/North Africa forum. There are lots of people there who have had to go through Morocco and could probably answer your question.

Good luck

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

Hi - You can write his name in English (roman letters) we also wrote out his name in Arabic but I don't think it's absolutely neccesary. They understand the language differences there and almost all legal and other business transactions are done in French so the Roman alphabet is usually fine. (add it in Arabic just in case ;))

abdounjen,

Answer with information as complete as you can remember it. If all you're missing is the building number and the postal code then what you've got is plenty good enough.

Keep in mind that you'll have to eventually get a police report from England (if you lived there for more than 6 months) so you'll need to report it now anyway.

As Yodrak suggested, just provide as much information as possible.

6 months? I thought you would only need to get a police certificate when you live abroad for more than 1 year? And I thought that is because you have to list places you've lived in for more than 1 year on G325A. I don't think it's necessary for him to list that other place which he lived in for only 6 months...am I wrong?
