We are all in the same boat... I wonder why Chicago local office has been so delayed especially when compared to other offices. Keep ourselves posted here... The least we can do is wait patiently as we get more hope as each of us gets an interview date and more importantly gets our GCs approved!

We had our interview on Dec 11th 2014 in Chicago. It took less than 10 min. We were were very pleased. Couple questions. We been together over 6 years. We were told we are approved and the GC should arrive within two weeks. A month has passed and we didn't get any letter or gc yet. Online status says that we are still at the "interview is scheduled" stage.i scheduled an infopass for tomorrow to get some answers.

No green card yet. I'm about to set a second infopass this month.last time I've been told that I should hear something from uscis within 30 days.

The sad thing is that uscis website says that processing date for Chicago office is march 2nd 2014. Does it mean that they are approving cases from march/april? Does it mean I'll have to wait another months or two for a green card?

Today February 2nd, 2015 has passed 3 months and 10 days since we had the interview and still no green card!

Pending considerations letter ..... !

Please advice me what to do!

I should get the permanent GC because we got married in december 2010 and in April 2014 we applied for I-485 and I-130 ...

the interview was on October 22nd, 2014 but we did not hear from them since.

At the end our 5 minutes interview the IO congratulate me and she told me that I will receive the permanent GC since we were married over 2 years now - my wife is US citizen) within 10-14 days.

Could be this kind of delay because the FBI checks and because I came to the US in 1999 with B2 (business visa) ?!!??!

I've heard after 9-11 the FBI procedure has changed and ... delays ...

I don't know honestly what is wrong. We been together over 6 years now. Got married in April. Filed papers in may 2014. Had interview on Dec 11th. Been told we are approved. And never heard back. I went to infopass last month and the guy told me that everything looks good and we should hear something within a month. I'm about to set up second infopass and file an official complaint. The waiting time is inexcusable anymore. They had 8 months to do all the security checks and whatever the f*** they do in there.

I worry about FBI name check because my first name and last name are identical with my grandpa name (I have a middle name also but my grandpa doesn't) that died before I was born (1967).

He was a teacher and a music composer in Romania and there is a street in a city that has been named after his death with his name!
And now if I google my first and last name will be lots of hits because that street that has my granpa's name! All kind of business addresses and all kind of info will pop up showing my name which in fact is a little different because my middle name!

Any thoughts?

Maybe they think who the #### is this guy that has his own street in Romania !?!?!?
