& there's the real problem. Why do We the People tolerate a lying politician = we lost REAL influence as the "power" was shifted from States to Fed......I doubt we will ever get it back.

Every human being lies to some extent, but as far as presidents go, no-one has ever told the number of bald-faced lies this preznit has. Remember "if you like your plan, you can keep your plan; period" that needed to be told in order to get Obamacare passed? Pure fiction, and not over a trivial matter. Benghazi: caused by an internet video! That whopper needed to be told to cover the the preznit's prior whopper that he had decimated Al Quaeda singlehandedly so that couldn't possibly be the cause, and also because the general election was mere weeks away. Or that healthcare costs will go down $2500. I'd bet that's not true for too many people. Want more? There's plenty to be found.

There's really no contest: no president ever has as audaciously and arrogantly lied so frequently to the American people. And the press covers his lies whenever possible. It's pitiful.

I attribute his claims of 'transparency' to either pure hypocrisy, narcissism, his Machiavellian nature, or plain ol' lack of self-awareness. Either way, that's just another of his obvious lies.
