Usually the clock starts ticking from your NOA1 date. Your timeline reads March 14, 2014, so add the forecasted number of months TSC is showing for K1 visas. For example, if USCIS website states 4 months, then you should start anticipating news come mid-July. My understanding is K1 visas are processed a bit quicker, but don't hold your breath. Processing can rapidly start moving or could come to a halt...ie., in the case of Philippines, where applicants were expedited and took preference.

We're all one big family, waiting patiently for our turn.

But, while you wait you may want to start getting the information ready for the next step in this journey, in this case packet 3. This will speed up that part of the process. There are great wiki's if you haven't found and read them yet.

Good luck.

Thanks and Good luck to you too!!

Where i can find the info of yhe pack 3 like you said?

I believe it's only expedited if you were DIRECTLY affected by the storm in the philippines. My wife and kids are in the philippines too and my pd was march 25. If everyone in the philippines are expedited ,we would've been approved by now ... I think. :)

Check in the wiki's tab which is the 5th one from the left in the darker blue heading.

If none are there, then in the search bar which is in the upper right corner, type in I-129 wiki.

If these 2 don't help....then hop into the forums and check out the K-1 forum. There's gotta be tons of info on packet 3 for K-1's.

Good luck.

I think Philippines petitions should be expedited.

Im pretty sure that It is expedited. But then again, there's a lot of factors that can delay your petition like incomplete paperworks or background check issues.

Thank you. Its still showing initial review online but despite the TSC's imperfections, i have to give them credit for approving my case in two months. In other words, im taking back all the bad stuff i said about them haha

Hello all...it has been a month since I received my NOA1 from TSC. I see people with the same notice date as me (May 1) from CSC that received their NOA2, congratulations to them as well as everyone else who has received theirs. At any rate, someone wrote suggesting for us to write a letter to the USCIS acting director, maybe she can shed some light on why is the CSC working faster than TSC. IDK?? We still have to hurry up and wait!! Good luck everyone!
