Benham brothers lose HGTV show after 'anti-gay' remarks

CNN) -- Twin brothers David and Jason Benham have lost their opportunity to host their own HGTV show.

The brothers ran afoul of the network after the site Right Wing Watch published a post about the pair, labeling David Benham as an "anti-gay, anti-choice extremist" for reportedly leading a prayer rally in 2012 outside of the Democratic National Convention held in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The site posted a recording of Benham talking to a talk show host about "homosexuality and its agenda that is attacking the nation" and "demonic ideologies" taking hold in colleges and public schools.

I never understand these right wing nut jobs talking about the Homosexual agenda. I think that agenda is to have the same rights as other Americans and to stop being attacked by the religious right . I am pretty sure they are not out to destroy marriage in America. I know lot's of divorced people, never met a one who had a gay break them up.

I want a new reality show. Gay divorce court, with Randy from "say yes to the dress as the judge"

On edit I don't agree with the them losing their show because they have a un popular belief

It goes with the territory. Honesty has no place in the entertainment industry....or politics for that matter. If one is seeking a career in the public eye...they need to watch what they say.
