According to your link, she was getting paid while her case was going through the administrative appeals process that teachers are afforded under the Fair Dismissal Act. I don't think it was right for her to receive her pay, but your article also states that it was the school boards faut for dragging their feet on this case as to why she got paid for the long priod of time that she did.

And on a side note: She's not black.

I'm not saying it's right, but all my teachers were old men and women. I'm talking late 40's, early 50's. All of them. Even in high school. Now, you got these folks running around in their late 20's looking like SI pin ups trying to teach these teens something.
