Virginia and I have our papers put into the Nebraska Service Center. We hope the interview comes soon. We realize the waiting period could be long; however we are hoping to have things in order so that we can get things done as fast as possible. Our goal is to be together before June so we can celebrate our birthdays together... (L)

Any advice is much appreciated...

Welcome Webber! For now, sit back and relax and hope that everything goes through smoothly. In a week or so, you will receive your first notice of action (NOA1) informing you that your case is received and tranferred to California Service Center. Since NSC is currently not processing Fiance Visa, CSC will be the one who will review and approve your case. If you won't receive the NOA1 right away, you can inquire at your back if the check that you issued is endorsed. At the back of it will be your case number that you can use in checking the status of your petition at USCIS website. Please read the guides for more information. Being here at VJ will help you a lot in a way that you can ask for insights from all of us here.
