CEAC. Stat: ready April 28 -May 7

AP just took half day i thought it will take long

Wow! A very pleasant surprise indeed! You just have to wait for a text from 2Go. They should contact you in about 2-3 business days if you're within Manila, or 4-5 days if in the province.

Very very soon, welcome to America! :dancing:

Congrats!

Patience is a virtue. For some countries, the US embassy has to put some applicants on AP as a mandatory for background checks to a beneficiary or sometimes a petitioner if they just found something suspicious after approval at USCIS. While some others, AP means just papers need to be done, visa printed, and issued. Mine only took 3 days from interview date, administrative processing, issued, and pick up the visa at the US embassy.

That's awesome. Time to start packing now then! :dancing: It took me about 2 weeks to finally decide which ones to bring and which ones to give away. Not an easy task, I tell ya! But the excitement to see my other half has more bearing. I'm sure it's the same thing with you!

Cheers and have a safe flight soon, kabayan!

LOL. Just wait. Your passport will come. Meantime, I think it is better to prepare everything before leaving your home country. Sort out of your stuff, which ones you will bring with you or just give away. Meet some of your families and friends to celebrate. Study where you will live in so you have a better idea after you arrived in the US. There are a lot plenty things to do while you are waiting your passport with the visa.

Edit: I had a farewell party with my co-workers and probably you can have one with your close friends. Anyhow, keep us updated!

I think 2Go won't let you do that, as they strictly follow instructions from USEM. Don't worry, it will reach you in time. I think it should just be a 1 day difference, and they deliver during saturdays too. It's already a positive thing that you're in Manila. More convenient for you. :)

Yep, sis! Just wait, or you can call them up if they have received it yet from USEM. But for Manila applicants, it doesn't take that long. I don't see any holiday coming up too, so you're very lucky!

Just enjoy your time with your family while waiting! Cheers! :dancing:
