I see Nazis have been brought up in this thread. Here's a story about the Catholic school my niece attends in Chiang Mai.

Thai school's Nazi-themed parade sparks outrage

Students from the Sacred Heart School in Chiang Mai, Thailand took part in a parade wearing Nazi uniforms. Faces have been blurred to protect their identity.

(CNN) -- A Jewish human rights organization on Monday called for Thailand's Christian leaders to condemn a parade at the Sacred Heart School in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in which participating students wearing Nazi uniforms performed "Sieg Heil" salutes.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center, a Jewish human rights organization based in Los Angeles, denounced the event, saying it was "glorifying Nazis."

Photographs of the parade show participants carrying a Swastika flag, performing Nazi salutes and wearing SS uniforms, while others dressed as Adolf Hitler complete with toothbrush moustache.

Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, said the images made it clear that the event could not have taken place without the knowledge and cooperation of the school administration.

It is difficult to calculate the hurt such a display inflicted on survivors of the Nazi Holocaust .

The Simon Wiesenthal Center urged those responsible for the school to take immediate action against the individuals who promoted and facilitated the event.

Cooper said that a similar parade took place in 2007 at a school in Bangkok in which 200 students participated, and that more recently, members of Thai rock band Slur donned Nazi uniforms in a music video.

On Wednesday, the school's website posted a letter by its director expressing an apology.

"We, the entire Sacred Heart School [personnel] are deeply saddened by this incident."

The letter explained that the sports day activity involved groups being differentiated by colors -- the "Red" group having used Nazi symbols.

Pick your flavor you want to read about. Redskins is as offensive as any of the other racist images and names associated with other races.

Meh, most of those were funny. I don't think you get the concept of comedy. It can be healthy to joke about stereotypes. Comedians do it all the time. Sometimes its race stereotypes and sometimes its about gender stereotypes. The "buck" image on black face made me laugh a little. Kinda reminded me of Bernie Mac when he was being "interrogated" in oceans 11. Anyway, yeah, I laughed at that stereotype and a few others, because they're funny. Would i assume a random black guy I meet on the street or in a job interview or whatever is a certain way because the color of his skin? Of course not. I think that you link those two together because of your own issues. I'm from KY so I always get made fun of for being inbreed or a hick from northern folks. Its funny and I usually play into it. But there's a difference between people joking about stereotypes and counting you or your opinion out because of what you look like or where you come from. People that do that, well, you and I are on the same side there.

What I said there is almost identical to what I've said today. The character assassination did not occur with you alluding to something I previously said. It occurred with the "white liberal" closet racist nazi stuff.
