Everything follows the race pecking order.

Whenever a form asks for race, I always check "other". We others are so far down the pecking order, nobody even notices us. We don't even have a real name. Nobody ever want's to hear about us.

If I try to talk about the problems we face as others, I'm usually just met with blank stares or nervous expressions. It's like we don't even exist.

I always just check all the boxes.

Picking on spelling and grammatical errors, to belittle the original author and enforce how serious a problem racism is, really? And basically telling the original author he's stupid because he used some big words? Who does this guy think he is, a poster here at VJ?

I believe that's exactly what I said in post #8.

I agree with his premise, but he went about it all wrong. You'll never garner the support you hope for when you belittle other peoples sufferings to enforce how much you have suffered.

Something that has always bothered me is what they call "Blood Quantum" in Indian Ancestry, which I have. In some cases it is as small as 1/16th blood quantum to identify yourself with Indian Ancestry and claim all of the benefits. With black ancestry the quantum appears to be one drop. Colin Powel is more Scot than anything else if I recall correctly, but he's generally identified as "African American". That term also carries with it the insinuation that your ancestors were slaves in America rather than, say, slave-owning blacks in Africa that immigrated yesterday.

If you are 1/16th black or whatever, that gives you 100% victim status and 0% privilege status. Even if you are the daughter of the U.S. President and have advantages like almost no other person in the country, truly privileged, the destitute whites in Appalachia are still "privileged" over you. It's nonsense, but politically correct.

The principle of collective guilt also bothers me. My ancestors fought on the North, not the South. Against slavery. You NEVER hear thanks for that. It's always collective guilt: you're white so you're guilty.

You should go over to the gubmint thread. Apparently you can get a Civil Service job, go to jail, and still collect a paycheck if you're black. I keep missing all of these cool benefits like free shyt and automatic jobs that pay six figures.
