Singapore US Embassy - Beneficiary employment status & visa interview

Hello, I've read several threads here saying that the employment status of the beneficiary is not an issue at the visa interview.

We've received the NOA-2 about a month ago and my fiancee (the beneficiary) in Singapore is considering to resign from her job. Just wanted to make sure that resigning from her job does not affect the outcome of the visa interview in Singapore. Thoughts?

Any advice is truly appreciated. :)

Thanks

is she a singaporean citizen? if she is, then no problem. there's no requirement for the beneficiary to be employed.

if she is working in singapore on a work pass/permit that would be cancelled if she resigned, then resigning might affect her eligibility to interview in singapore.

just some unsolicited advice - although there's no requirement for the beneficiary to be employed, going to work every day helped keep me occupied and took my mind off waiting for the embassy to contact me, for the visa to be delivered, etc. YMMV. :)

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!
