Although I think she's got some serious personal issues, it seems that she cannot win the public's confidence as being a good mother because every little slip up she will be scrutinized for.

Just my observation about the video but it seems she is very distracted and uncomfortable with the paparazi that is surrounding her. That could be a plastic cup of water for the baby, who knows - but I've seen plenty of mothers carry their baby's in one arm while they use the other hand for something else. I'm not defending it but it's nothing outrageous.

I thought this happened yonks ago?

Anyways... i fell down some stairs carrying my 4 year old last year, i was carrying a pair of her socks, nothing more. Accidents do happen even with the most careful of moms like me.

With the paps, i guess it just got to her and she was not looking where she was going.

Don't apologize - it was hilarious! The thing is, I read your headline and I actually thought that she dropped the baby while stripping. Sad that it wouldn't be all that surprising!

I'm not a bit Brit fan, but I agree with Steven...accidents happen. On the other hand (if it happened that way, I don't remember what the final decision of that debate was...) you don't DRIVE witha baby on your lap!! M.

yes this is old....BUT I think every single mother has had a trip, or a bump, or some THING that if photographed 24 hours a day would have been caught on video, and probably scrutinized.

No mother is perfect....I don't like Britney, but I don't think THAT episode deserves as much riducule as it got

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

My mom slipped while carrying my little sister. Went right down a set of concrete stairs. Everyone was okay.

Britney's done some pretty crazy things, but carrying a baby in one hand and doing something else with the other hand, and even tripping, are all things good moms can do.

We really do get a bit crazy doing drive-bys on moms.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
